Four of a Kind (Four cards of the same rank such as four 5s, four Jacks, etc.)— this poker hand is another rare and very strong hand. It’s important to remember that technically all hands in poker are five-card hands. When you get four of a kind playing Texas Hold’em, you should also know where you stand with regards to your “kicker” card. Your kicker card is the next highest ranking card available for your hand, i.e., four aces with a King kicker is stronger than four Aces with a Queen kicker.
